Because the sound is the story.
Every scene in YE! moves to a beat Lagos made famous. The music tells you who these people are and what scares them and what they want so badly they can taste it.
Familiar songs meet the drama of everyday Lagos. The rhythm carries the tension and old lyrics find new meaning.
Lagos never sleeps and neither do Jemi and Rire.
They have one shot at a talent show that could change everything. Their families have other plans. Between rehearsals and arguments at the dinner table they have to decide whose dream they are living.
Can they rise above the noise and find their own voices?

The story so far
YE! premiered at the MUSON Centre in Lagos in December 2024. Lagos asked for it back and we returned in June 2025.
In between it played private performances for companies who wanted their end-of-year celebration to feel like this.
